Pediatric and family services

Care designed for real life. Dr. Geary blends allopathic training with Functional Medicine to address root causes and create practical, step-by-step plans. We support children, teens, and young adults with clear guidance, protected time for conversation, and coordinated next steps.

Pediatric Primary Care

Well and sick visits with a focus on practical next steps. Rapid testing (e.g., strep/flu/COVID) and school, camp, and sports forms when needed. Includes in-depth discussion about the role of vaccination.

Adolescent

Medicine

Adolescence is unique—physically, emotionally, socially. We address mental health, hormones/cycles, GI, sleep/energy, skin, allergies, weight and nutrition, attention and focus, self-esteem, and gender/sexuality concerns. Care is built to engage, empower, and enrich.

Integrative Health

Evidence-informed strategies that complement conventional care—nutrition, sleep, movement, stress reduction, and mind-body tools—tailored to readiness and family goals. (Renames “VedaHealth” to Integrative Health, per practice direction.)

Nutrition & Disordered Eating Assessment

Comprehensive review of a young person’s relationship to food and body, risk factors, family impact, and habits—sensitive care for anorexia, bulimia, emotional eating, and obesity, with coordinated support as appropriate.

Functional Medicine — Comprehensive Assessment

A deeper look at root causes with a thorough history and exam. When appropriate, targeted labs to inform a personalized plan addressing gut health, sleep, stress, daily routines, detox support, and mental wellbeing—focused on attainable changes for sustainable wellness.

Parenting Support

Practical guidance for every stage—from newborn to post-college. Support through life transitions (e.g., postpartum, divorce, serious illness), developmental changes (e.g., puberty, disability), and psychosocial challenges.
