At Zimbi Dental, we use the SOPROCARE® intraoral camera to more closely examine your smile. This small, flexible camera moves easily and comfortably within your mouth to give our dentist and team a clear view of areas of your mouth that are otherwise impossible to see. Not only does this help us diagnose and treat problems early, it also allows you to see and understand exactly what is happening in your mouth. Give us a call today at 801-745-1100 to learn more about the SOPROCARE intraoral camera in Eden, Utah, and to schedule your appointment with Dr. Chad Wagstaff.
Intraoral cameras are small, pen-like devices that maneuver easily within your mouth, allowing our dentist and team to capture high-quality images of your teeth and gums. Intraoral cameras make it easy for us to diagnose problems such as tooth decay, periodontal disease, and cracked or chipped teeth.
The SOPROCARE intraoral camera is a more advanced type of intraoral camera. It comes with three modes to meet distinct oral health needs.
- Perio Mode – SOPROPCARE uses LED lights with a specific wavelength that highlights plaque. New plaque is highlighted by its white, grainy characteristics, while old plaque is highlighted in shades of yellow and orange.
- Cario Mode – Dental carries, also known as cavities or tooth decay, are revealed clearly with a bright red color when the SOPROCARE device is in Cario mode.
- Daylight Mode – This mode includes a preset focus ring, allowing the camera to focus and provide sharp, clear images without any delay.
SOPROCARE allows our dentist and team to easily diagnose dental problems and create long-term treatment plans. It also helps you understand the processes that lead to dental problems, the necessity of treatment, and the treatment options and results.
We welcome you to contact our office today to learn more about the benefits of SOPROCARE intraoral cameras and to schedule an appointment with our experienced dentist.
